Photos from Mooney The Mooney crew at work on the Peats Ridge Fire last week end. The Sky Crane is trying to slow the fire front approaching Mooney 1 and this is where the fire was stopped. The left hand side was completely burnt out but not allowed to cross the fire break. The fire break was cut in by a Gosford Council D7 in only 30 minutes and must have been 3 kms long, and there was no access before the dozer went through. |
